Pink Salmon Season Summary

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:
PWSAC’s preseason forecast for WNH is 6.6 million pink salmon. To date, an estimated 6 million WNH fish have been harvested with approximately 84% going to the common property fishery (CPF).

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:
PWSAC’s preseason forecast for AFK is 5 million pink salmon. To date, an estimated 5.4 million AFK fish have been harvested with approximately 66% going to the common property fishery (CPF).

Cannery Creek Hatchery:
PWSAC’s preseason forecast for CCH is 6 million pink salmon. To date, an estimated 6.4 million CCH fish have been harvested with approximately 90% going to the common property fishery (CPF).

Eggtakes are underway at all three hatcheries. Since CPF catches are low here at the end of the season, this will be the last pink salmon harvest update. Eggtake progress updates will be posted periodically over the next several weeks.
