The Armin F. Koernig Hatchery (AFK) is the first PWSAC-owned hatchery located at Port San Juan on Evans Island in Prince William Sound (PWS), approximately 90 air miles west of Cordova, Alaska.  The original hatchery was converted from an existing salmon cannery located on the site in 1974 and designed as a pink and chum salmon facility.

AFK is currently permitted for 190 million pink salmon eggs annually.
